PRESERVE HURRICANE PREPARATIONS
The following responsibilities will be completed by maintenance with back up in the following order:
1st- John Wood, Maintenance
2nd -Richard Cain, 1st Choice
3rd -Board of Directors on site
4th -Residents on site
- Remove/secure all pool and porch furniture.
- Turn off electrical to the pool equipment.
- Remove grills. Secure propane tanks in place with the provided locks and chains
- Park elevators on the 3rd floor and lock elevator out. Sandbag elevator doors on the garage level. Sandbags and plastic are staged in storage room next to the elevators.
- Elevator pits are required to be inspected prior to return to service.
- Make sure all roof hatches are closed and locked.
- Secure gates in open position and turn off power. Ropes for tying gates open are stored in Building 7 ground floor storage room.
- Make sure stairwell doors are closed and locked.
- Make sure all ladders and other tools are stored indoors.
- Check that unit lanais are cleared.
- Check that all walkways are cleared.
- Check for any loose items.
OWNERS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Register for the website at www.tpach.com for important updates.
- Make sure to have a stairwell key prior to a hurricane.
- Make sure you have the stairwell key with you in the event the elevators have to be locked out while you are gone.
- Bring all lanai furniture inside your unit.
- Ensure all windows are closed and locked.
- Remove anything from exterior doors and walkways.
- Remove Bikes from rack and store in unit or off site.
- Check message boards and/or website for emergency information that may be posted.
- Let task force members know if you are staying so we can check on each other. The following have volunteered to be the contact person for each building:

- If you are evacuating turn off main water valve and electric to Hot Water Tank!
- If you have tenants or guests in your unit make sure they are aware of these responsibilities
